Apologetics

~giving a defense for your faith~

Apologetics discusses and explains Christianity for those who don't understand or agree with it.

Our unique Approach

Apologetics Packets

Club students receive a resource packet for every Apologetics question!

Each packet contains 3-4 articles that answer the question along with quotations about the topic. The student chooses the answer he likes best and rewrites it in his own words. Next, he adds in several quotations from the list. Finally, he writes an introduction and short conclusion.

One of our club students, working his mom, was able to write a whole speech in just an hour and a half! (We highly recommend families work on Apologetics speeches together.)

Theses speeches are put on notecards for practicing and competing. Our fall tournament only has 5 Apologetics questions making it very doable for new students and reluctant writers!

As students complete all 10 questions and grow as speakers, they begin to add to their Apologetics speeches as they learn from sermons, podcasts, and Bible studies.

Educate for Life Interview

Siblings Elijah and Kaitlyn beautifully share their experience with competitive speech in an interview on Educate for Life about Apologetics! You don't want to miss it.

Apologetics

Answering the world's questions builds faith

Apologetics questions help to create a mental framework for studying the Bible. Biblical information has a place to be categorized and stored! Students often talk about how a sermon or podcast fits with a specific question/topic.

The first 5 questions are used for the fall tournament.
