Speech Drill #1

You are going to develop a presentation style. This will include the physicality of your body and your voice. It may feel very unnatural at first, but it will become more comfortable with practice.

Start with proper posture:

  1. Gently stretch your neck upwards.

  2. Raise up on your toes as if a string above your head is pulling you up in the air. Slowly lower your heels keeping your head up but your chin level.

  3. Bring your shoulders back and down.

Next, put a smile on your face, walk confidently up to your bathroom mirror and introduce yourself:

"Hello, my name is _______."
