One way to become a better speaker is to record and analyze your practice! Prop a cell phone or camera at eye level and record yourself entering the room and introducing yourself.

As you watch the recording, ask yourself these questions:

1. Am I standing up straight?

2. Do I walk with confidence?

3. Do I smile walking in?

4. Did I stop walking BEFORE I introduced myself?

5. Am I smiling at the end after introducing myself?

You will become more confident the more you practice!
